• PhD degree in biomedical science (Oncology experience highly preferred) • Associate or Assistant Professor position at the University • Good publication record • Good recognition of the field, current trends and the experts and scholars conducting research in the field of oncology • Familiarity with medical literature databases (e.g.PubMed) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience in reviewing papers for scientific journals would be an asset • Professional computer skills (standard office software) • Fluency in written and spoken English • A personal computer is required • High motivation in the development of the new project • Experience in articles processing is not necessary

• Supporting Managing Editor of Open Medicine (www.openmedicine.com) in establishing new Section dedicated to Oncology • Organizing peer-review process of the selected articles dedicated to Oncology • Making final decisions based on reviewers' reports • Coordinating publishing tasks prior publication on-line
