Required:

• five years Java development experience in enterprise environment or equivalent,
• development in service-based architecture - REST services model preferred,
• two years (or project equivalent) of SQL development under Oracle,
• ability to communicate effectively in English,
• ability to participate in design of software and understand end-to-end software delivery in enterprise environment Preferred,
• understanding of enterprise development issues - scaling, concurrency, threading, performance testing,
• use of Google Web Toolkit (GWT),
• use of stored procedures under Oracle,
• development in agile methodology,
• experience designing/developing cloud based software,
• financial Services knowledge,
• knowledge/experience with JMS and MQ.

This position is for a Senior Developer working on an agile team on digitization applications supporting EMEA specific accounting for daily valuation of collective investments. The position requires a strong background in application development, a good understanding of leading IT technologies in particular J2EE, RDBMS and cloud development. The person in this role will be completely hands-on and will work with cross-functional teams. The work will require a candidate to be competent in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The candidate must be able to work independently with moderate input from his/her manager.
