Position Requirements: Must have:

• good end-to-end system knowledge for GSM, UMTS and/or LTE systems,
• knowledge regarding at least one of following areas:
  • protocols, procedures and signaling messages used on RAN interfaces,
  • principles of Radio Resource Management, Packet Scheduling, Admission Control and/or Mobility procedures,
  • QoS mechanisms used in Radio Access and Core networks,
  • protocol/spectrum analyzers and/or test automation tools,
  • familiarity with telecommunication open standards (3GPP, IETF, ETSI, ANSI, ITU-T),
  • good communication in English (both written and spoken);

• Nice to have:
  • bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or an equivalent education,
  • previous experience in interoperability test planning and/or execution is a plus,
  • related work experience with protocols/algorithms used in Radio Access Networks (BTSs, radio controllers and/or mobile devices),
  • log collection and analysis skills with tools like Wireshark, QXDM, NEMO Outdoor, TEMS, XCAL,
  • user level experience for Linux operating systems.
