Qualifications A qualified accountant with 5-8 years management and audit experience preferably in a fund or financial services environment with strong accounting standards knowledge and good working knowledge of know-your-customer procedures. Industry Knowledge A sound understanding of the financial reporting requirements in a financial services industry. Job Summary Reporting to the Vice President in charge you will be responsible for the daily operation of the Financial Reporting shared services department. You will be required to demonstrate a good knowledge of investment funds and have a good working knowledge of various GAAPs including IFRS and UK GAAP. You will be responsible for managing the department in preparing financial statements of investment funds for clients of State Street Ireland, Luxembourg, UK and Switzerland. You will be required to work closely with the senior management within GmbH Poland branch and with other State Street offices in EMEA. You will also be responsible for planning and delivering projects assigned to you and perform day-to-day tasks pertinent to the departments' activities. A major focus will be on the take-on of business outsourced from other State Street sites, executing department strategy and process-improvement, general management and liaising with other State Street sites.
