• MS or PhD in Biotechnology or related disciplines,
• basic knowledge of GMP/GLP standards
• good level of communication and presentation skills,
• very good knowledge of English.

Choosen person will be able to learn how to:

• plan and execute lab-scale experiments for the commercial development of recombinant protein expression in mammalian cells,
• perform manual and automated operation of fed batch cultures,
• recording, analyzing data, reporting results and conclusions for each experimental study,
• optimize technical & economic aspects of bioprocess development,
• identify potential improvements in the USP setup, in particular in the area of media and feed development,
• evaluate external suppliers of media, cell lines, equipment, disposable materials,
• support GMP manufacturing by process investigations & process transfer activities,
• plan and conduct experiments based on the QbD approach,
• collaborate with DSP, Analytical, Pilot Plant and CMC-Reg. departments.
