Intel Corporation is an American multinational semiconductor chip maker corporation. Intel is one of the world's largest and highest valued semiconductor chip makers, based on revenue. It is the inventor of the x86 series of microprocessors, the processors found in most personal computers. Intel was an early developer of SRAM and DRAM memory chips, and this represented the majority of its business until 1981. Although Intel created the world's first commercial microprocessor chip in 1971, it was not until the success of the personal computer (PC) that this became its primary business. During the 1990s, Intel invested heavily in new microprocessor designs fostering the rapid growth of the computer industry. During this period Intel became the dominant supplier of microprocessors for PCs, and was known for aggressive and sometimes illegal tactics in defense of its market position, particularly against Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), as well as a struggle with Microsoft for control over the direction of the PC industry.

Wymagania:

Qualifications Education:

  • MSc degree in Technical field (Computer Science preferred),
  • fluency in English (spoken, written),
  • the level of Certificate of Advanced English Skill,
  • ability to understand and analyze project requirements,
  • good communication skills,
  • strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and debug issues,
  • knowledge of various testing methods: unit, functional, integration, exploratory, whitebox, black-box, load, pairwise testing,
  • practical knowledge about how to apply good test principles in software projects,
  • knowledge of the following operating systems: MSFT Windows, Linux,
  • knowledge of Internet Applications/Services architecture,
  • object Oriented Programming skills (e.g. based on C++, C# or Java),
  • scripting languages programming skills (e.g. Python or Ruby) Well-welcomed skills (these skills will increase the likelihood of hiring): -Good multitasking/context switching skills,
  • defining and refining test processes,
  • working out test strategies and translating requirements into appropriate test plans,
  • experience with Visual Studio as IDE,
  • experience with subset of the following source control systems: SVN, GIT and/or Mercurial,
  • knowledge of waterfall and agile-based software development methodologies.

 
Obowiązki:
  • description This is Test Engineer position in the group developing internet backend services used by various compute device PC, servers, smartphones and tablets.
  • Responsibilities:
    • writing test specifications,
    • implementing test frameworks and automated tests,
    • creation of test strategy based on functional, performance and system requirements.
