National Synchrotron Radiation Centre Solaris is searching for candidates with all levels of experience, inviting them to be a part of the most challenging project for the polish science ever. Solaris is a new synchrotron light source, which is under construction in the marvelous city of Krakow (Poland) in association with the Jagiellonian University. This new scientific facility, as a medium energy source (1,5 GeV) will provide state-of-the-art research opportunities for many, multidisciplinary groups, working at the same time at the same place.

  • We are looking for the candidates in a wide range of areas: Engineers: Mechanical Technicians: Electrical & Mechanical Engineers: Control Systems (IT) Engineers: Radio Frequency Engineers: Power Supplies Scientists: Accelerator Physics Scientists: Health Physics Alignment specialists Draftsmen Main requirements (common): -
  • master’s degree in Engineering, Physics or parallel, PhD very welcome
  • availability to work abroad (in EU) at the beginning
  • good, communicative English
  • self-organization, loyalty
