- The Design Methods group, located in the Netherlands (Eindhoven/Nijmegen), is part of Central R&D. The technical scope of the group is “Design Environments”, with topics such as RF EM, cohabitation, parasitic extraction, ESD, EMC, analogue and digital test methods and diagnosis, system design environment, AMS Verification & Validation.
- The group has the charter to provide customized solutions as required by our internal customers, based on the work of the group and 3rd party EDA vendors. To do this, we utilize a flexible composite of EDA tools and flows to encapsulate the required solution. We support these solutions in the field as an integral part of the common (Central R&D) support infrastructure.
- Our competency in providing Application Support/Consultancy is further employed in closing the loop between experience / requirements in the field and initiation of new developments at group and sector level.

| Obowiązki: |
- Your Responsibilities: Develop specifications for innovative physical design solutions in interaction with program and product managers, end-users and support engineers. Build solutions according to specification; You collaborate with colleague experts to understand the physical design challenges and issues for a wide range of products and technologies, including Low-power Design, Cross-Talk, EMC/EMI, Substrate Interference Analysis, ESD analysis, and address those by means of innovative methods, design concepts, algorithms, and prototype tools. Your solutions will be deployed throughout the design community; You act as a consultant for design teams in your area of expertise, and support those with innovative and pragmatic solutions; Develop and maintain a broad knowledge of technical developments in the relevant areas of expertise by means of literature study, technical contacts and on the job learning; Support the acquisition of new projects; Contribute to the strategic development of the department; Act as a coach / mentor for colleagues where appropriate; Support the “Make or Buy” decision process when initiating new developments; Technical participation as appropriate in (external) meetings with customers / partners / vendors as the department/group representative.
